It also includes leaders and managers in universities, training organisations, and other areas of the education sector.
AMiE members work in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. AMiE also has members who work in British service schools abroad, and in the independent sector throughout the UK. Please be aware that professionals who work in any country other than those listed above are ineligible for standard membership.
Whether you work full time or part time, are retired, or are returning to education after a career break, AMiE has lots to offer you.
If you have retired you can keep up your membership of AMiE
This entitles you to all the usual services and benefits of membership with the exception of representation and legal support on new issues. However, where your retired membership is continuous with your standard membership, then we are still able to provide representation and legal support for any matter that arises in retirement that relates back to the time you were still working and you were a paid up member of AMiE.
Retired members also have their own directly elected representative on the AMiE Council.
For more details, please see our retired members page.
To change to the retired member rate please contact the membership department on 020 7782 1602 or by email.
Please read our terms and conditions.
